Hankendagen 2010 – Ethics in a global world
Hankendagen is Hanken’s biggest alumni event and is every year held on the first Friday in October. The event is in alternate years arranged in Helsinki and Vaasa. This year Hankendagen is arranged on Friday October 1st at Hanken in Vaasa. The first Hankendagen was held in 2005.
Hankensdagen is a very popular event among the alumni and every year attracts hundreds of alumni back to their alma mater. Hankendagen is a day for knowledge and networks and offers the alumni the exclusive opportunity to hear about and discuss the latest within economics and business. The seminar day represents cutting edge research from Hanken with a strong connection to the corporate world. The topic of this year’s Hankendagen is: Ethics in a global world.
During the seminar, you as an alumnus, have the opportunity listen to and meet prominent people from Finnish society and business life. The key note spekares are Finland’s Ambassador in China Lars Backström and member of the European Parliament Carl Haglund.
Besides offering the latest knowledge Hankendagen also offers you a perfect opportunity to meet your old fellow students and also to make new friends. The day in itself offers you a possibility to network, but the evening programme is especially designed for socializing in festive surroundings. We will begin the evening with a dinner party at Strampen and continue with nachspiel at Cella.
Most of the programme is held in Swedish. For more information on Hankendagen and registration, please go to the Swedish web pages and click on Hankendagen in the event calendar.
